You can be assured that our range of lifestyle bikes have been chosen with you the rider in mind. With our vast experience and a passion for life in the saddle we look at every detail to give you the most comfortable, well equipped bike for all aspects of town riding.
The Brownie is a simple looped-frame bicycle, designed for women who want a classic bike that can handle a few hills. It features a comfy Bobbin sprung saddle and 7 speed Shimano gears. Available in 5 snappy colour schemes and a large range of sizes.
New! This year we have taken our popular Brownie model to another level. The Luxe version has a slender, lightweight alloy frame, puncture-proof Schwalbe tyres, alloy components and more gears. If you live in a very hilly or coastal area and don't want to compromise your style with a frumpy-looking hybrid or impractical mountain bike, this is the model for you. Unusually for this style of bike, it has three chainrings concealed behind a chaincase so you don't have to worry about hills or getting oil on your clothes
With its cream tyres and stylish gloss paintwork, the Brownie is always a welcome addition to the bike shed. New for 2015: we have added to our standard sizes both a larger 52cm ‘Dutch’ frame size (with bigger 700c wheels) and petite pre-teen 33cm frame with smaller 24” wheels. Something for everyone!

About The Bobbin Brand
Bobbin Bicycles established the world’s first bike boutique in 2007. Unlike any other bike store, it was a totally new concept: a mix of old sweet shop and the dressing-up emporium from Mr Benn.
We became known for our unique and friendly service and amazing selection of brightly coloured traditional bikes, panniers, helmets, bells and lights. We soon started to attract attention from the media and bike industry.
Seven years on, bike boutiques are now a global phenomenon, with similar stores popping up from New York to Bangkok, Sydney and beyond.
